Plum and Mauve Blush Collection

Hi, lovelies! Hope you've been well. While I was putting together this post I noticed that my Mauve/Neutral/Plum blushes look really similar in the pan. They look different when swatched so I'm glad I don't have a bunch of repeats. :) I've been loving these colors because they look great with vampy winter lips and match any eye makeup.

NYX Blush in "Silky Rose": This is my first NYX blush and I'm so impressed with it! I wasn't expecting it to be as pigmented as it is, so the first time I wore it I put on way too much. It has really small glitters but they don't show up on the face (so it looks matte). The texture is soft and the color is a dusty rose.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in "Blushing Bride": This looks similar to "Silky Rose" in the pan, but it has more purple and it's definitely plum. The finish is shimmery, it has gold glitters that don't disappear on the face. The texture is very soft.

MAC Blush in "Empire": This is a limited edition blush that I got from a blog sale months ago. It's really pigmented and has a matte finish. Looks similar to "Exposed" except it has less pink in it. I wish they would repromote it. It's great on dark skin tones or as a contouring blush because it's pigmented and shows up well.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in "Exposed": This blush gives my face a really nice warmth. It's sheer and you have to build it up (like a MAC Sheertone blush). The finish is matte and the texture is very soft. I think this would look great on everyone but it probably won't show up on darker skin tones.
