Try It Out Thursday: Nude Eyeliner

I got a nude/peach eyeliner a little while ago and after playing around with it for a month I can honestly say I love it! I read that you can use nude liner to:
  • Make your eyes look more open by using it on the waterline
  • Erase your lips
  • Spot-conceal blemishes
  • Line the outside of your lips for a defined mouth
I've used it in those 4 ways and my favorites are on the waterline and to line my lips when I wear dark lipstick. Nude is great on the waterline because it's not dramatic or too contrasting (as opposed to white liner). I still love white liner but not for everyday, just during the night. Also, I would never use it on my eyes right after using it on a blemish because that's not hygienic.

If you're looking for a nude eyeliner here are some options (Those are all the ones I know of. If you know any more please leave a comment!):
Rimmel ScandalEyes in Nude
Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz
MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in nc15/nw20
MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in nw25/nc30.

In case you want to check them out, past Try It Out Thursdays include: Colorful Eyeshadows, MAC Mixing Medium, Ombre Lips, and Red Eyeliner. Tomorrow is finally Friday! I'm happy because my birthday is next Tuesday. Have a nice weekend, lovelies!

  3. Great ideas! I really need to get on the nude trend. Sometimes white is just a little bit too harsh-nude is perfect.

  5. I'm loving these posts! This eyeliner makes all the difference on, I love the comparison you did there! I have the same one in white, which I don't reach for that often... Somehow it doesn't stay put on me. :( xx

  6. I could definitely benefit from owning one of these. I would probably use it the way you do most, for lining the waterline and for outlining my lips. Seems like a minor thing, but I think it can really pull your makeup together. x

  8. Nice ideas of using the eyeliner! However I'd skip using it to cover blemishes though. I don't have any nude eyeliner before so it's really informative! Thanks, sweetie! ^_^

    1. Nudes are great because they aren't as harsh. And the MAC nw25/nc30 is the darkest shade of them all so it's the most wearable. xx

  21. Great tips! I have only used it on the waterline so far but I don't own a good nude eyeliner and I'm too lazy ahah

  22. I like it best on your eyes. Although it can be use multiple ways, I probably would only use it for the eyes. I've got other concealers for blemishes and to define the lips.
