Wet'n'Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single ($1.99)
Hello, loves! Today I'm going to review two Wet'n'Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Singles: Brulee and Kitten. The Wet'n'Wild Color Icon Palettes get a lot of love around blogs (and with good reason, they are amazing) so I want to bring some attention to the single eyeshadows. Kitten is a gorgeous shimmery purple. The glitter in Kitten reflects gold and silver in sunlight. Brulee is a matte vanilla color. A color like Brulee is a great staple in any collection since it's very versatile. It looks great when paired with some black winged liner. It's also a great browbone highlight. These eyeshadows are super soft and incredibly pigmented. They are also very cheap, so what's the catch? Well, they are quite powdery. When you swirl your brush in them, a lot of excess powder gets kicked up (especially with Brulee). However, it's something I can overlook and work around. The very affordable price makes up for that little inconvenience. I highly recommend you check these out. If you want to see a makeup look using Kitten and Brulee together you can go to this post.

brule looks stunning. xx
ReplyDeleteBrulee! It looks like a dupe (sorta? I don't know!) for MAC's Brulee! Agh! Okay - will have to check this out. Dang it for making me think about stopping my no-buy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I knew it looked similar to a MAC color I had seen before but I couldn't pinpoint which. They even have the same name, lol x
DeleteFrom what I've seen from a lot of YouTube videos they are dupes and most people prefer the Wet n Wild over MAC.
DeleteThey're beautiful! I wish we had wet n' wild over in the UK! Xx

Brulee is a really nice, basic color - I don't have it personally, but I sometimes use my sister's when she's around. Which reminds me that I have to purchase that myself!

ReplyDeleteI love WnW shadows, they are SO cheap but such great quality for the price! I've been meaning to pick up some more but can't be bothered to make the trip to walmart! I'll check those out next time I go x
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love that it reflects gold and silver, sounds even prettier in person. Brule looks like an awesome highlight shade! About to go check out your other post on it. Wet n Wild has stayed pretty grounded with their prices and continually released more amazing products! I wish other drugstore brands could be like this!
ReplyDeleteI know! They got really popular with the release of their Color Icon eyeshadows yet they are still such an affordable brand x
DeleteSuch pretty shades, love seeing how they look together! x

I love Brulee! It's one of my favorite eyeshadows for all over the lid on really simple eye makeup days! Paired with big lashes and winged eyeliner, it always looks great :) Just found your blog and I love it, I'm following!
