Sugar Plum Fairy (908C)- This color has been called a dupe for MAC Rebel on many blogs. I don't own Rebel so I can't say for certain, but the side-by-side swatches online look very similar.
Smokin' Hot Pink (905D)- An extremely gorgeous hot pink. It's not too cool toned so it looks amazing on my warm skin tone. This is the longest lasting of the bunch.
Wine Room (906D)- Is a deepened rose. I don't have anything like it in my collection.
Think Pink (901B)?- Or it could also be Just Peachy (903C). The sticker at the bottom fell off and it doesn't say the name elsewhere. It's a milky baby pink. Very similar to Illamasqua's Obey except it didn't tug or dry out my lips like Obey. Pastels can accentuate lip imperfections, however this is the best pastel lipstick I've tried so far.

Pigmentation
The color pay-off for all these lipsticks is amazing! They are all 100% opaque. The only one that goes on a little lighter than what it looks like on the tube is Sugar Plum Fairy.
Formula
In general, the formula is consistent throughout the range. For the most part they're creamy enough to apply easily. None of them accentuate dryness. They look really pretty on the lips. I did notice that I had to apply considerable pressure when applying them for the first time, but after I "broke them in" they were creamier.
Longevity
The more matte shades last the longest. Still, all of them last really long.
Packaging
The worst lipstick packaging I've ever seen! Yes, the lipsticks are quite cheap so I didn't expect much. The bullet doesn't completely retract so no matter how careful you are the cap will get smeared with lipstick. Also, the cap doesn't close firmly so be careful if you take it with you for touch ups! The cap of Sugar Plum Fairy fell off inside my bag on a night out and I got lipstick on everything! Even on my house keys!
Bottom Line: Be aware that the packaging is flimsy and that some colors are more matte than others. Besides that, the Wet'n'Wild range is really impressive, especially for $2 each. Great colors, long lasting, and very pigmented. I highly recommend them, they're good for building a lipstick collection without spending too much money.

Love it.. !

DeleteI love these lipsticks! But I agree the packaging is so annoying haha. Think pink is pretty, I don't have that one, I'mm have to pick it up :)
ReplyDeleteI love Think Pink! I've drooled over so many swatches, but can't seem to find it at my local drugstores :(
ReplyDeleteSugar plum is really pretty
ReplyDeleteI need to pick up some of these and the eyeshadows. The colors look beautiful. The grocery store across the street from my house sells Wet n' Wild products but they always look seriously jacked up.
ReplyDeleteWow, what rich, pigmented lipsticks for such a great price! Sugar Plum Fairy really does look like a good dupe for MAC Rebel. Can't go wrong for $2 :)

Glad you love them! Sugar Plum Fairy is beautiful x
DeleteHmm the first time I tried to apply it, like you said, I also had to put pressure and I really hated that so after that initial try, I just left it alone cause I wasn't happy about it, lol. I didn't know you were supposed to break them in to get the good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe same happened to me. I was wary of them for the longest time just because of the initial application. I've owned these for a year and only started loving them recently when I gave them another chance. I found the bullet stiff the first time but now they're creamy which was very strange. Maybe they got softer from not being in a/c like in the store xxx
DeleteThink Pink is so freaking pretty! i love my pastel lipsticks! have you tried strawberry milk from nyx? like you mentioned, it can accentuate all of your imperfections from being so pastel, but otherwise its really pretty. i like that one but now i need think pink. lol! thanks for reviewing these
ReplyDeleteI haven't, but I will check it out. Thanks for the suggestion! xx
DeleteLove the look of think pink. wish we had wet n wild in the UK have heard so many great things xx
ReplyDeleteOh wow Sugar Plum Fairy looks an absolutely gorgeous colour! I've never tried these lipsticks as we don't have them in the UK, but I will definitely have to check them out at some point when I can =)
