Sharing the Love: Etsy Shops

Hello, beauties! I love shopping on Etsy and I'm sure many of you do as well. There are many shops I love and want to purchase from (my shopping cart has exceeded the 99 item limit!) So instead of sharing Esty shops I like and make a wishlist-type post, I'm going to list the ones I have actually purchased from. That way I can vouch for their quality and service. I've made many purchases on Etsy (mostly for jewelry making materials) so I'm only going to list my favorites. Also, I wasn't asked to write this post. I just want to show small business some love.

01. Bang Bang Crash: Custom Made Animal Costumes and Accessories
I came across JoJo's shop while looking for bunny ears for last year's Halloween costume. Her store is full of super fun handmade costumes. She sells a variety of animal ears headbands and full body suits as well. She also makes custom orders and has great costumer service. I ordered the Black Bunny ears with a matching tail. The set cost me £22. I'm really happy with these. I love them!! They are thick, fluffy, bendable, and high-quality. The tail is adorable. I get compliments everytime I wear them, and trust me, I wear them a lot. They are also very comfortable, even on my big head. They took about 3 weeks to arrive which is fine considering they are made to order and came all the way from England.
02. Purl Rose: Handmade Knit and Crochet Designs
Gemma is also from England and I actually found her Etsy shop through her blog. She makes the cutest knit bow headbands. There are a lot of colors to choose from. I really love my headband and I wear it whenever it seems appropriate. It's great quality and Gemma is really sweet. She sent my package out really promptly so I totally recommend her shop. My red bow headband cost £9 (aproximately $14.47).
03. Nikki's Uniques: Custom, Vintage, and Recycled Jewelry
Nikki's shop has a mix of vintage fashion finds (clothes, bags) and handmade jewelry. I ordered a vintage Christian Dior tartan print red scarf. Whether it's actually Christian Dior or not, I don't really care. I jumped at the chance when I saw a really cheap tartan print scarf. I had been looking for one for ages. The shipping was very quick and my scarf came wrapped in really pretty tissue paper. The scarf is gorgeous and it's in great condition. Nikki ships from the United States.
04. Hello Ambition: Vintage Fashion
I adore Caroline's shop!! It was hard for me not to go spending-crazy. She has lovely vintage clothes and knit sweaters (my weakness). I ordered two sweaters from her: a blue knit and a geometric print. She shipped my items very quickly and both sweaters are in great condition. I've worn them tons. I love the geometric sweater because it's really unique (bordering on "ugly" sweater territory, haha). The blue sweater was $20 and the black one was $24. I highly recommend this shop!

Please share your favorite Etsy shops in the comments so I can find some new gems. Feel free to post a link to your own Etsy shop as well. Happy Friday!

  6. I steer clear from Etsy because I know I would spend all of my money on the things people offer!! Especially the thrifted/vintage things... I have, however, bought some jewelry making bits and always get great service so I know how wonderful Etsy is :) The headband you got is adorable!! I have one that's similar but has a flower instead of a bow :)

  16. I was pretty excited when the title of this post popped up in my feed. I love the idea of Etsy but find it a tiny bit overwhelming to browse through, so I really enjoy seeing other people's recommendations.

I love me some tartan as well!

  18. I can't get away with these - but those bunny ears are so cute! People should do all the wild crazy things they want while young for as long as possible. Sadly bunny ears were never in in my teen or college years. :D
