Bobbi Brown Blush in Sand Pink ($25 / £18) Purchased by me.
Hello, lovelies! Today's review is a quick one. Simply because I feel like there's nothing too impressive or too terrible about this product. In general it's not average, just good. Maybe I'll grow to love it in the future? Anyways, here's what I like: the texture is amazing! Very high-end and luxurious. It's soft to the touch and a pleasure to swatch. The color is really pretty too, a deep mauve pink. It's a great neutral and it goes with any look. Don't be intimidated by the color, it's buildable so it will also suit fair skintones. What I don't like: I love how it looks on me but it lost me during application. It's too soft, it doesn't grab onto the skin. It blends away into nothing too easily. Also, the packaging looks sleek and elegant but it's made of shiny plastic that feels a bit cheap. I've only had this blush for a month and it already looks scratched/dirty.

Bottom Line: I was eager to try a Bobbi Brown powder blush but I think this might be my (first and) last. It has a great texture but it doesn't make me say "Wow! This really was worth $25." However, I will gladly pay $25 for their Pot Rouge Cream Blushes! Have any of you experienced this before, a blush that easily blends away into nothing?

  5. Thanks for giving an honest review as usual! I have heard/seen so many super positive reviews on these blushes and it always made me feel a bit weary of how they really are. Such a shame that it blends away for such a high price tag.

    1. They are ridiculously soft, but I think that's where it ends. There isn't anything else that would make me choose this over, say, a MAC blush which is more affordable.

  11. Hmmm yeah I can't say it sounds like it was worth $25 at all, what a shame :/ Thanks for the honest review though Coco and at least with a bit of effort it looks lovely on you!

  12. I've had my eye on Pale Pink for a while, but I don't know how close it comes to MAC's Pink Swoon. Not sure if I'm ready to take the plunge yet, but I'll eventually try it out! Love your two toned necklace btw!

  13. Well, that stinks! I feel like if you're forking over $25 for blush it should be good. Thanks for the honest review!

  14. It looks amazing on you! One blush that did that to me were the Maybelline Dream Bouncy blushes. Hate those! Nice review! xo

  15. Bobbi browns blushes are really pigmented but i too find it quite hard to build on my skin. I much prefer NARS blushers because they are better quality and packaging looks alot better too. Regardless, this blush does look really pretty on you and the colour is easy to wear with most look.

    Thanks for sharing <3

  16. You know, I don't own a single Bobbi Brown blush! This colour looks great on you, though! It reminds me a little of NARS Dolce Vita x

  18. I'm pretty sure that I have this blush and I never used it much because I was sure it didn't suit me, but it looked amazing on my slightly more tan friend.
I may give it another go now seeing as it's sitting in my makeup collection

  19. It looks beautiful, in the pan especially. It does suit you a lot, but it looks quite different from the pan, probably because of the problem you mentioned. I really love that necklace you're wearing.

  21. I like the shade but $25.00? Meh. I actually suggest the other shade from Becca - sweet pea, which is described as a plum nude. Also, check out weseebeauty's make cosmetics - their matte blushes are ridiculously pigmented and come in a few interesting, atypical shades. Will eventually post those swatches.

    1. I'm considering Sweet Pea. If I love Wild Honey then I'll definitely go back for it!

  22. It might just be that shade, i have a few Bobbi Brown Blushes that are really nicely pigmented and last really well :) Nectar is my fave xx
