Choose Skin Health With Neutrogena

I have teamed up with Neutrogena and Latina Bloggers Connect once again. This time the focus is on skin health and sun protection especially during these upcoming summer months. In this post I'll be showcasing a few products that you can incorporate into your routine to protect yourself (and family/friends) from sun damage. Regardless of whether it's summer or not, it's always important to protect your skin. Neutrogena's Choose Skin Health campaign is in conjunction with  the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Here are a few interesting facts:

+ Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the world.
+ One American dies of melanoma (most dangerous skin cancer) almost every hour.
+ Over 70% of Americans don't reapply sun protection when outside for long periods of time
+ You should always protect your skin from the sun, whether it's sunny or cloudy
To protect your skin make sure you use a broad spectrum sunscreen (meaning it protects from UVA and UVB rays). Here are a few products from the Neutrogena Suncare Line that can help with skin protection:

+ Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen: This new range offers a spray and lotion version of either SPF 30 or 70. There's also a 1 oz. travel-friendly size. The Beach Defense line claims to resist water, sweat, and repel salt.
+ Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid Lotion Sunscreen: This is a light, oil-free lotion with a matte finish that offers broad spectrum sun protection aimed at people with acne-prone skin. It's available in SPF 30 and 50.
+ Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen: Lightweight formulation that offers broad spectrum protection and absorbs quickly into the skin.
+ Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunscreen: Specifically designed to be applied on wet skin (ideal for sweaty skin, sports events, humid climates, etc.) Available in lotion and spray versions of up to SPF 85.
Admittedly, because of their ingredients, sunscreens will never feel completely lightweight or free of a certain fragrance. With that in mind, my favorite sunscreen for the face is the Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch because it doesn't have the typical greasiness that most sunscreens do. For the body I like the Beach Defense Spray because it's a cinch to apply even if you don't have anyone to help you.

  6. I use the clear skin on my face b/c I'm sensitive to sunscreens. This is the only thing that doesn't break me out! And I love that it's an SPF of 55.

  12. love their sunscreen it doesn't clog my pours. I'm the one that hates the feeling of sun block, rather get burnt than touch it or have it one my skin. I don't have that feeling with these products.
