Getting Ready For Fall: Healthy Radiant Skin

#NTGbeautifulInsideOut neutrogena healthy and radiant fall skin
I've teamed up with Latina Bloggers Connect and Neutrogena for the third time to bring you a fall beauty prep post. There are some very specific lip colors that I've been craving for this fall. I'm looking forward to wearing orange-reds and terracotta browns (which I'm wearing in this post). When it comes to the skin, I plan on using my more luminous foundations (like the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, $14) since I'm traveling to Chicago soon. I have a normal skin type and don't tend to get dryness during the "colder" months in my country. However, Chicago is considerably colder and less humid so that's why I'll have to switch up my face makeup.

To prepare my skin, I've been using the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer ($20) everyday since it was sent to me. Out of all the products I received this is the standout one for me.  I'm so impressed by how much I like this moisturizer and how well it suits my skin type. The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging. It comes in a glass bottle with a lockable pump which I really appreciate. I thought it would be a heavy moisturizer since it's marketed for nighttime but it leaves no residue on the skin. I can't comment on its anti-aging properties since I haven't been using it for long enough. It does have Hyaluronic Acid which has become a very popular ingredient in skincare recently (in case you're interested in that).

Here's a full list of the products sent to me for Neutrogena's #NTGbeautifulInsideOut Healthy and Radiant Fall Skin campaign: Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, Oil-Free Acne Wash, Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night, Healthy Skin Primer SPF 15, Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector, and the Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush & Bronzer.

Out of these my must-haves are the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer and Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush/Bronzer. Although the bronzer color in this compact is a bit light and orange for me, the blush is perfection. It's a peachy pink without shimmer. The texture is very velvety and soft.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know if you also change your makeup/skincare routine with the seasons. Have a lovely week!

  2. Very pretty, natural look! That lipstick looks really good on you, I wish I could pull off those kind of colors.

I do change my make up routine. In summer I barely ever wear foundation because I can't stand the feeling of it melting off my face but I enjoy wearing it in winter. I also like wearing heavier eye make up in winter for some reason haha

    1. Summer is when I whip out my matte longwearing foundations but still, I'd rather go without too. It's so uncomfortable to sweat with face makeup on x

  12. In Canada, it's definitely necessary to change your skincare and make up routine during the colder months. I really like the look of the moisturizer, but I think it would probably be more appropriate for summer in my case as it doesn't really appear thick enough for the dead of winter! xx

    1. Yeah, I wouldn't call it a winter moisturizer, specially if it's for dry skin x
