Hello, lovelies! I hope your week is off to a good start. Today I have my take on the Five Product Face tag/challenge thing. The premise is to do your makeup using only five products. I went for a natural everyday face. I'd like to do this challenge once more and create a more dramatic nighttime look. I must admit, I usually use about 10 products to do my makeup (sometimes more) so it was a challenge. I guess I'm not much of a minimalist. This could come in handy if I ever wanted to travel lightly with a very small makeup bag.
1. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation (review)
Used this as foundation all over and as concealer by applying it in concentrated areas.
2. Milani ShadowEyez Champagne Toast (review)
I used this pencil as a wash of shimmer all over my lid. On hindsight I think I should have "cheated" and used an eyeshadow palette since it's technically one item.
3. MAC Shaping Powder in Shadester (review)
I used this lightly as a setting powder, contour, eyeshadow (along the lashline), and as a brow color. The most versatile product of all, definitely.
4. Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral (review)
The Pot Rouges are my favorite cream blushes. I used this on both cheeks and lips.
5. Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Faceted
For me mascara is the ultimate indispensable beauty item.
Here's a video of all the products in action. Let me know if you have done this challenge too. I'd love to see it!
