Messy Updo Hairstyle: #NeutrogenaHair

neutrogenahair triple moisture
Neutrogena has teamed up with The Beauty Milk and LBC once again, but this time the focus is on hair. I received a few items from Neutrogena's Triple Moisture hair care range and have created a hair tutorial that is very easy to recreate. This style is like the reliable sock/donut bun: it works with curly hair, straight hair, clean, dirty... It's messy/boho vibe makes it very forgiving. I love to wear my hair natural and messy because as many of you know, curls are impossible to brush once the hair is dry.

From the Triple Moisture range I received: the Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo ($5.99), Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner ($5.99), Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Mask ($6.99), and the Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In ($6.99). The main ingredients from the Triple Moisture range are: olive oil, meadow seed oil, and sweet almond oil.

Here's what I did to prep for my hairstyle:
Step 1. I shampooed my hair using the Cream Lather Shampoo.
Step 2. I left the Deep Recovery Mask on the bottom half of my hair (where it's color treated) for 15 minutes.
Step 3. After rinsing the mask, I conditioned all my hair with the Daily Deep Conditioner.
Step 4. I let my hair air dry because this style does not require straight hair. This also reduces hair damage.
My hair has been color treated a lot during the past year so it's frizzier and drier than usual. If you have relatively healthy hair, virgin hair or very fine hair, you might not want to leave the Recovery Mask for that long. Or you might want to use either the conditioner or the mask, but not both at once. The products are very rich and they could weigh your hair down.

Let me know if you have tried or will try this hairstyle. Also if you've tried anything from the Neutrogena Triple Moisture range.

  6. This is beautiful Coco! I've never thought of using a headband in this sort of way, and it looks way easier than creating a sock bun. My hair is too thick to use those anyway. Great post!

  12. I absolutely love this hairstyle, I've done it a couple of times & it's just so effortless. I even left it in my hair for 2 days hehe and it was crazy curly when I took it out! The braid is a good idea that I will have to do next time! xx

  13. Your hairstyle will always look great if your hair is gealthy. In my own experience, nutrition is the most important thing to make your hair healthy in a long term.
I was against all artificial vitamins, but found the product which satisfies my demands. This is HairGain formula, manufactured by American company Military Grade. They use natural and herbal compounds. After 4 months of taking this supplement I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of newly grown hair on my head. Also my hair loss has become less severe.
Besides, I never forget to use castor oil from time to time. Natural remedies do help, if you use them right!
