Jordana 12 Hour Made To Last Eyeshadow Sticks

jordana made to last eyeshadow sticks review swatch emerald white
The Jordana Made to Last 12 Hour Eyeshadow Pencils have made a few appearances on my blog these past few weeks. When I saw the press release for these I thought they looked so similar to the Milani ShadowEyez (which I adore). I had tried lip liners and mascara from Jordana but never any of their eyeshadows. I was skeptical before trying them but I'm happy to report they are quite nice cream eyeshadows.

These pencils cost $3.99 at the drugstore. You can see the full range here. They come in eight colors with a mix of neutrals and brights. In terms of drugstore eyeshadow pencils, they are most comparable to the Milani ShadowEyez ($7) in formula because they are both creamy, pigmented, long-wearing, and don't crease. They can be used alone (unlike the Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Pencils or NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils which crease on their own). The Jordana Made To Last pencils are cheaper. However, I still prefer the Milani ShadowEyez because, although Eternal White is an amazing white pencil, I found that Endless Emerald applies a bit patchy. Still, it makes a good eyeshadow base.

To see Eternal White in use, see my Ice Princess look. To see Endless Emerald in use, see my Emerald Green Spotlight. Let me know if you have tried these as well. I hope you had a nice weekend!

  1. Wish they sold these in the UK, so gorgeous. Shame one of them goes patchy but still, it's a beautiful colour and such a bargain too!

  6. Those look gorgeous! I have a hard time finding jordana products but almost always hear great reviews from them! Definitely going to add these to the list of things to look for! I usually use the NYX pencil in milk for a white one but this one looks a bit better and I think I'll also look for the milani one you suggested :)

    1. They are hard to find, most definitely. I can only get them at Walgreens and they have the littlest stand, they don't even have the full range of products. x

  12. These look very interesting, will definitely check them out. Have Rimmel ScandalEyes e/s pencil and actually very like it, but not on its own. So guess these from Jordana may be what I'm looking for.

  18. They look in the swatches like really high end shadow sticks! That's the good thing about cheaper cream shadows though, they make good bases!

  21. I got Continous Almond and I LOVEEE it! It lasts all day on my waterline unlike the rest of the nudes I've tried but I wish Jordana would make a slim pencil of the same colors too!
