The Korres Lip Butters are staple products in the beauty community but today I'm going to share with you their glaze counterpart. I'm not keen on calling the Glazes lip glosses because they don't exactly feel like ones. Prior to purchasing these I used to see them being sold separately at Sephora and Beauty.com. Then I saw them pop up in several sales in sets of three or four. Now I can't really find them easily so I'm thinking they might be getting discontinued? Still, I decided to review these because I included one in my 3k Giveaway.
Let's hear it for them under eyes in the left pic. Rough night.
Undoubtedly I love the Lip Butter Glazes. Otherwise, I wouldn't have included one in my giveaway. They're the perfect throw-in-your-bag lip product because you can build up the color intensity to your liking. They feel like thinner versions of the Revlon Lip Butters: smooth, non-sticky, and they provide a natural sheen. They also glide over lip imperfections very nicely. They don't feel like glosses to me because they're thicker (more balm-like) and last longer.
My only wish is that these had a fuzzy/sponge tip like the Clarins Natural Lip Perfectors because slanted plastic applicators aren't my favorites and I don't think they're ideal for balms. Other than that, I'd take these over the original Korres Lip Butters any day (although I don't actually own any) because over time I grow increasingly intolerant to lip products that come in jars/pots. They gross me out. :/
Out of the two, Pomegranate is my favorite and the one I use the most. I really like Jasmine but I find it a bit too pale for me sometimes. Oh, and these are all vanilla scented.
Have you tried these? If you know of any similar products let me know because I'm not a big glossy lips fan but I'm really enjoying these balm-gloss hybrids!
