Hello, beauties! I was asked to be part of Neutrogena's Face-Off Challenge this month. The challenge aims to demonstrate the efficiency of the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in removing dirt, oil, and makeup. Here are my results of the #NeutrogenaRostroLimpio challenge….
The challenge consisted of the following:
+ Take a "before" picture with your regular full face of makeup on
+ Use one Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelette to take off your makeup
+ Use your regular cleanser afterwards
+ Dry your face with a white towel to demonstrate the results
I'm very glad that Neutrogena asked us to stress the importance of cleansing after using a makeup remover in this challenge. Some brands market their wipes or makeup removers (such as micellair waters) as the only product you need in your nighttime routine. I know we've all used a makeup wipe to remove our makeup and then gone to sleep on those nights when we're really tired. That's really bad for the skin though. Makeup removers are meant to get rid of the makeup that cleansers can't, but the remover stays on the skin.
Anyway, I was very surprised with the results of the Face-Off challenge. I'm a long-time user of the Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes but I don't tend to dry my face with a white towel. So if there is ever any trace of makeup afterwards there's no way for me to know. I expected at least some mascara residue to rub off on the white towel but it came out pretty spotless.
The Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes vanity case with 25 sheets retails for $8.99. Neutrogena describes them as soft and gentle enough for contact lens wearers. Neutrogena is also recommended by dermatologists two times more than any other brand.
What's your makeup removing routine like? Have you used the Neutrogena Towelettes before?
