Latasha I was able to try the popular Contour Kit from Sleek. She sent me the color Medium which is perfect for my skin tone. The Contour Kit is available in three shades (Light, Medium, Dark) and retails for $9.99 at the Sleek Cosmetics website. This is a product I have always wanted to try because it's a favorite amongst beauty lovers. Plus, it's affordable and I believe there is a lack of contour products in the drugstore market.
Have you tried Sleek's Contour Kit? What do you think?
I'll be brief with this review because the Contour Kit is a very basic product. Both the highlighter and contour powder are very pigmented. The contour powder is a bit warm toned, something cooler toned individuals might not appreciate. I really love the highlighter because it's very subtle, not frosty or glittery. The texture of the powders is soft, but it could be softer. Specially for the contour powder. Since it's so pigmented, it's a bit harder to blend (in comparison to every other bronzer/contour powder I've tried). That would be my only critique. When it comes to bronzers, a bit of translucency is actually a good thing because bronzing/contouring can turn into a hot mess real fast. Regardless, it's a good product and wears very well throughout the day.
