New Glasses from Firmoo

glasses firmoo acetate frame f1014 review affordable
I remember when Firmoo glasses first came into the blogging scene and a lot of beauty/fashion bloggers where trying them out. I was a bit skeptical at the time because I had never ordered glasses online. I was offered to try a free pair about a month ago and accepted the offer because my old glasses were 4 years old. So, yeah, it was about time I change them! My old frames (left) were very small and rectangular (I called them my secretary glasses) so I went in a completely different direction. I wanted big fun frames. Admittedly, they looked more yellow online (which is why I was so attracted to them) but I'm still quite happy with them.

It took me about a week to adjust to these new frames because they are so much bigger than my old ones! I also never realized how scratched my old lenses were until I wore these new ones. They're so clean that it looks like there isn't even a lens in there. The writing on the inside of the frame has started to rub off, but overall it's sturdy and well made. I'll have to see how well these hold up over time but they are great affordable glasses. Including shipping, the frame, and basic lens (with prescription but no upgrades) these would have cost me around $42 which is less than half of what all my other glasses have cost in the past. So I do recommend Firmoo if you're in the market for good affordable frames.

Have you tried Firmoo glasses too? Glasses wearers, how do you like your frames? P.S. Firmoo has renewed their First Pair Free offer! More info here.

  3. Wow, that is super affordable compared to glasses here...at least $80 US a pair for prescription glasses! I love the slim framed ones but the larger ones are so sassy! ^^

  8. i think both frames look great on you, but the new ones are especially awesome! i love how there are more and more options online for affordable prescription glasses...makes it so much easier to switch up your look.

i have to wear glasses everyday, and a couple years ago i switched over to larger frames, which i really love, but the only thing i have a love/hate relationship with is that they almost totally hide my brows, but sometimes that comes in handy when i get a little lazy on the upkeep ;)

ps the lip color you're wearing here looks lovely!

  10. You look really good in both styles, but the latter (new) one definitely imparts a more "vintage chic", like how Audrey Hepburn wore cat-eyed shades :)

I wear frameless glasses for school, but if I'm rowing /eating dinner out at a nice place/on a date with the bf, I put in contacts. I really want to try larger "hipster" glasses, but I feel that they wouldn't flatter my smaller, rounder face.
