I seldom post empties/repurchased posts because: a) I rarely run out of products (i.e. I own too much makeup) and b) I mostly run out of/repurchase boring things like body wash, deodorant, shampoo, etc. I've put myself on an unofficial, slightly flexible spending ban because I need to start making a dent in my makeup collection. Anyhow, here are a few things I have repurchased in the last few months.
1. Fresh Seaberry Oil, $19: I had wanted to try this for ages thanks to Patricia. Back in January picked up a 500 point perk bundle from Sephora that included a tiny sample of the Seaberry Oil. Mind you, it was tiny but it lasted me months because I'd only use 1-2 drops a day! After it was all used up I knew I needed to purchase a bigger size because the oil was wonderful for my skin. I couldn't quite part with $50 for the full-size so I went with the medium sized bottle (which is only available from Sephora, I believe).
2. Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms, $9: Without fail I have gone back to purchase more shades of all of Revlon's lip releases in the past -- the Lip Butters, the Kissable Balm Stains, and now the ColorBurst Matte Balms. I reviewed four shades previously but went back and got Striking and Audacious. I think they're great products. The lasting power is nothing special but they're affordable, pigmented, and non-drying mattes.
3. Milani ShadowEyez Eyeshadow Sticks, $7: I've sung a million praises about these it seems (and said that a million times too, ha!) but I adore them. Milani released six limited edition neutral shades (the Naturally Chic collection) but then decided to make them permanent!! So I went and got the color Cafe Au Lait which I had previously missed out on. Although these newer six shades are now permanent, not all drugstores have them so they are a bit of a pain to find.
4. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, $26: Moisturizer is something I will always be willing to splurge on specially since I spent so much time trying to find the right one for my skin. I was running low on my Dramatically Different Gel so I purchased another (which I have already started using). I adore that it has a pump, I can't stand moisturizers that come in tubs. It's great for oily/normal skin types and anyone who lives in humid weather.
What beauty item have you repurchased/gotten more shades of lately? P.S. Happy Monday! Have a great week, everyone.
