OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in Pleasure Model

occ creme colour concentrate pleasure model review
I've acquired a new appreciation for highlighters this year and picked up the OCC Creme Colour Concentrate in Pleasure Model ($20) at IMATS thinking it would be a really nice one on many complexions. After using it on myself and on my friends, it has become my new favorite.

The OCC Creme Colour Concentrates are multi-use cream products. I've used these types of products from other brands before, but the OCC CC's are very thin and slippery in texture. I feel like I couldn't use Pleasure Model as an eyeshadow because it would most likely crease. It's not a problem though, because I bought it with the intension of using it as a highlighter. Although, it could also work as a shimmery overcoat on the lips.

Like I said, Pleasure Model is really thin and emollient. It retains a lot of shine so it looks wonderfully dewy. It's not high on shimmer or glitter so it just highlights the cheeks with a lovely pearlessence. I wanted this pink shade as a highlight because I sometimes think white/champagne colors look too dramatic on medium to deep skin. The pink tones also complement cool pale complexions so I think this highlight is fairly universal. It blends well over foundation, bare skin, and powder so I definitely recommend it as a highlighter.

What's your favorite highlighter?

  1. This looks so beautiful on you and goes really well with your skintone. I think I am falling in love with applying a highlight to accentuate my facial features. I am currently using NARS albatross which has slight gold shimmers. This is so pretty and I really want it now.

Thank you for sharing, I hope you have a wonderful day ♥

  3. It looks so nice on you, Coco! It even almost acts like you put some blusher on. I don't think I'd be able to pull it off as well on my skin tone- I've tried, but it just seems like the golden-y/white highlights were MADE for my skin, haha!

  7. My favorite highlighter is Mary-Lou Minizer by the Balm. I LOVE highlighters.... glowy, shimmery skin... *sigh*
I have been curious about this cream product... there's a lavender shade I have had my eye on, but I've been hesitant to pick it up because I hadn't heard anything about it. I shall add it to my wishlist officially now. Thanks!!
