It's time to mix up the makeup looks a little bit. Today's look is what I can best describe as magical vampy or colorful dark...? This is a nighttime look for me but I'm an advocate for wearing whatever you want whenever you want. I apologize if the pictures are grainy. I use natural lighting and took these photographs during the late afternoon. The star of the look is the LA Splash Smitten Lip Tint Mousse in Bellatrix which I used on my eyes and lips. I reviewed the lipstick recently, click here to see swatches. I added some gold/bronze glitter accent tears for a fun touch.

In case you're not familiar with the name Bellatrix (unlikely but, hey, you never know), it is the name of an infamous Death Eater from the Harry Potter series. I'm sure a lot of you share my love and appreciation for the book series and recall making your parents wake up at ungodly hours so you could get your book as soon as you could. Reading is amazingly beneficial when it comes to cognitive development as well as psychological welfare. Anyone who loves to read can recall books that gave them some positive reinforcement when they needed it the most; books which contents will stay with them forever. The Harry Potter series has inspired altruism in many. An example of this is the Harry Potter Foundation Alliance. As part of their work, the HPA organizes an annual book drive named Accio Books. During this year's drive, participants donated a total of 64,909 books. If this seems like a worthwhile cause to you, you can donate to the HPA here. They accept major credit cards and PayPal and have no minimum donation. I just made my own donation as I was writing this post.
Note: I am in no way affiliated to any of the charities or foundations mentioned. I was not asked to feature them on my site. I simply want to utilize this medium to spread awareness, bring exposure or inspire donations toward foundations that are important to me.
