Ethereal Untitled: Face Canvas Series

Hi, everyone! I hope your weekend has been productive and/or fun so far. Today's post is the second installment of my Face Canvas series which I started this month on January 7th. That first post has a more in-depth explanation of what this new series is about. Basically, the idea is to showcase the inspiration sources of some of my makeup looks and color schemes. I am often inspired by wonderful artists from around the world and would like to give them more exposure through my blog as well as inspire you to explore makeup in a more self-expressionistic manner. This particular eye look was inspired by the ethereal tones in Jacob Jugashvili's Untitled XXII.

  6. Wow, this looks stunning! Such a creative but faithful interpretation of the original artwork. You can really see how you took inspiration from it in the side by side pictures of the artwork and your eye look. You’re so talented, Coco! Only you can make Coastal Scents eyeshadows look a million dollars.

  9. I love the artistic inspiration- what a neat idea! I should try something similar, as I love being inspired by the shades and textures in artwork. The way you combined the red and blue tones here is totally beautiful :)
