10 Random Facts and FOTD
A lot of bloggers did this tag ages ago, I’m very late on the bandwagon! I’m always hesitant to write about personal things because I think people won’t really care. In the end, I decided to post my Random Facts because I blog for myself and this is also a lifestyle blog. Plus, whenever bloggers like Lau (from Noire Dame) or Jennie (from Sail Boat) write personal posts I really enjoy reading them. Anyways, here they are… π
My makeup above: MAC Cranberry and MUFE 162 on the eyes, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Zero, Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Mascara, MAC Empire Blush, MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick.
Random Facts about Me
01. I’ve never seen snow (in person) in my life. This December will be my first time and I’m so thrilled about it!
02. The last book I read was The Hobbit. One of my favorite authors is Kurt Vonnegut.
03. In case anyone wondered about my ethnicity, my mother is Puerto Rican and my father is Venezuelan.
04. So naturally I speak Spanish as well.
05. I was studying engineering but recently switched majors (to physics). I’m still trying to figure out how my passion for beauty will fit into my life in the future.
Beauty Related Facts
06. I love to put a ton of mascara on my bottom lashes.
07. I always tend to gravitate towards peach shades (blushes and lipsticks).
08. I don’t like to wear lip gloss.
09. I love false lashes but I still find them so hard to put on.
10. I used to be anti-foundation up until 3 years ago. I just didn’t “get” it.
Bonus fact: In the pictures above I have a papercut on my right eyelid, can you spot it? I still have it and it hurts to put makeup on.

12th Mar 2013 - 1:12 pmCranberry looks absolutely lovely! Ouch on the paper cut π Yeah, I'm a nerd, and so I really don't know how my love for beauty will fit in my life. I'm taking this one step at a time, but for now I think I'll keep it low-key and small. But for what it's worth, whether you become a physicist or if you end up blogging for a living, as long as it's what *you* want to do, regardless of all the negativity you might be facing, then go for it.

13th Mar 2013 - 6:22 amThank you for your kind words as always, Amanda. I used to be very aware of what other people thought, but in the end your the one that has to live with your own decisions not them. I hope you find what makes you happiest too π xxxx

12th Mar 2013 - 9:46 pmI don't get the appeal of lipglosses either. I think you should major in whatever you enjoy, unless you want a career in the hard sciences/math, in which case you are limited. I am sure blogging will help you figure out how to incorporate makeup artistry in your life, and may provide ample opportunities down the road.

Eyelid would be the most unlikely place I would spot a paper cut. I still can't find it. Snow annoys me. We get too much where I live. I can't wait till spring!
