Hello, lovelies! I was very very excited to finally be able to try out some Inglot eyeshadows this month. Inglot eyeshadows get a lot of praise online for being quality eyeshadows with a high-end feel. Inglot products aren’t that easy to find, and although I could have always ordered online, I prefer being able to swatch products in person when buying from a new brand. Anyways, I recently went to an Inglot store and had a swatch fest! It was very hard to choose colors because there were many lovely shades. I decided to skip the neutrals because, although they had a nice selection, I own too many. I thought their colorful matte eyeshadows were more unique and not something every brand makes so that’s what I chose.
369: Is a periwinkle/cornflower blue that is hard to pick up on camera. It’s really pigmented and has a great texture. It’s soft and easy to blend. It has a matte finish.
426: Is a pearl, shimmery royal blue. This wasn’t my first choice and I’m actually disappointed with this one. I originally wanted #428 but it was sold out. #428 is very similar to MAC’s Deep Truth. #426 is lighter. It’s not as opaque as the other two colors. It needs a lot of layering to get true-to-pan payoff.
338: Is a matte teal. I find this color to be quite unique (for an eyeshadow). It also has a really nice texture.
I considered only getting the eyeshadow pans because I have a lot of palettes already, but I wanted to see what the quality of the Inglot eyeshadow palettes was like. Inglot eyeshadow pans cost $6 per eyeshadow. I believe that if you buy a palette plus the eyeshadows you save some money (at least that’s what was advertised on the store). I chose the 3-eyeshadow palette. I also accidentally made an all-blue palette, haha. The Inglot palettes are really sturdy. The glass lids are very thick and the magnets are very strong. They are heavy (which is a downside) but they feel strong.
I was really impressed with the quality and texture of their eyeshadows. Although there are some misses and some colors that I would skip. I suggest going to a store (if you can) and going swatch-crazy because you’ll notice right away which ones are subpar. If you already have your own palettes and only buy the single pans, the eyeshadows turn out to be quite affordable (only a dollar more than NYX eyeshadows). Even if you make your own palette, they’re still cheaper than MAC eyeshadows and have comparable quality.
I’m really impressed with Inglot eyeshadows! They have really nice textures, very smooth matte eyeshadows, and very unique colors. I must stress that although most of them seemed good, there were some disappointing shades. Sadly, their stores aren’t very widely available but I suggest looking up some reviews online or swatching them in person so you don’t pick up a “bad” shade. I am thinking of getting some more colors so please let me know what your Inglot experience has been like. I’d also love some shade suggestions. 🙂
