I am slowly (but surely) working on a post where I will review all of my Coastal Scents Eyeshadows so you will see them popping up in several upcoming makeup looks throughout the month of May. I “recently” (over a month ago, LOL) acquired a bunch of them during their half off sale where each individual eyeshadow was $0.99!! Anyway, here’s what I came up with today…
I generally find silver eyeshadow really hard to wear because I have strong warm/yellow undertones in my skin and the contrast ends up looking harsh and frosty. However, I found that wearing taupe silvers (like Coastal Scent’s Aluminum Taupe) and charcoal grays (like Thunderous) make a harmonious combination.
1. Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer (base) 2. Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Foundation in Beige Light (foundation) 3. Coastal Scents Aluminum Taupe Eyeshadow (lid) 4. Coastal Scents Thunderous Eyeshadow (outer v) 5. MAC Pink Swoon Blush (cheeks) 6. Maybelline Beige-ing Beauty Color Tattoo (eyeshadow base) 7. Bourjois Liner Pinceau (liquid liner) 8. Korres Lip Butter Glaze in Jasmine (lips)
Do you also find silvers or grays hard to wear? Have a nice weekend, lovelies!
