Benefit Birthday Gift from Sephora + MAC Wishlist
Around this same time last year I published a similar post to this. Sephora offers BI (VIB and VIB Rouge) members a free birthday present every year. You can pick it up 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after your birthday (no purchase necessary). Since my birthday is on December 18th, I picked up my present a few days ago. Last year around this time they had the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Duo and now the Benefit Real Birthday Turn-Ons kit is up for grabs. It comes with deluxe samples of Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara and Watt’s Up Highlighter.
I haven’t had the chance to use the They’re Real Mascara yet. I have far too many mascaras open right now so I won’t be trying this for a while. I’m curious to see if I will like it because tons of people love this but I’ve also heard complaints that this is impossible to remove. I have used the Watt’s Up sample and I really like it so far. Benefit highlighters/illuminators have yet to disappoint me as I enjoy their High Beam and Girl Meets Pearl very much. I might end up liking Watt’s Up best seeing as it’s more golden/beige toned which is nice against my yellow-based skin.
It might seem a bit ridiculous that I want even more makeup for my birthday but it’s weakness/hobby. Some people can’t have enough shoes, bags, clothes or electronic. I don’t care about those, just cosmetics. Over the past months my MAC wish list has been steadily growing. I haven’t purchased from MAC in ages (unless you count a package that was stolen on October which included a Ruby Woo lipstick and a limited edition blush, ugh!!) MAC isn’t exactly cheap and it’s never on discount so why not put some of their items on my birthday/holiday wish list? 🙂
01. Eyeshadows: Coppering, Naked Lunch, and Electric Eel || 02. Style Surge Mineralize Lipstick || 03. 217 Blending Brush (because you can never have enough) || 04. Ruby Woo Lipstick || 05. Large Single Pro Palette || 06. Melba Blush Pro Palette Refill Pan
What’s on your holiday wish list? Are you lusting after any items from MAC?
