Hello, lovelies! Today’s review is a quick one. Simply because I feel like there’s nothing too impressive or too terrible about this product. In general it’s not average, just good. Maybe I’ll grow to love it in the future? Anyways, here’s what I like: the texture is amazing! Very high-end and luxurious. It’s soft to the touch and a pleasure to swatch. The color is really pretty too, a deep mauve pink. It’s a great neutral and it goes with any look. Don’t be intimidated by the color, it’s buildable so it will also suit fair skintones. What I don’t like: I love how it looks on me but it lost me during application. It’s too soft, it doesn’t grab onto the skin. It blends away into nothing too easily. Also, the packaging looks sleek and elegant but it’s made of shiny plastic that feels a bit cheap. I’ve only had this blush for a month and it already looks scratched/dirty.
Bottom Line: I was eager to try a Bobbi Brown powder blush but I think this might be my (first and) last. It has a great texture but it doesn’t make me say “Wow! This really was worth $25.” However, I will gladly pay $25 for their Pot Rouge Cream Blushes! Have any of you experienced this before, a blush that easily blends away into nothing?
