Etude House Sweet Recipe Ice Cream Polish in Lilac PP501
Hello, beauties! Today I’m showing you another Ice Cream Nail Polish from the Etude House Sweet Recipe Collection ($3-6). In my massive Sweet Recipe review and swatches post, I showed the ChocoChip Mint glitter nail polish. Etude House offers a bunch of beautiful glitter polish colors from their Ice Cream range but they also released solid creme finishes. I ordered a light Lilac color but I wish I had gotten the whole range. You can get them for as low as $3 online and they are so cute. I just want to hoard them all!!
Not much to say about this polish. The color is a beautiful pale lilac. It’s similar to Essie’s Nice Is Nice. It’s not a groundbreaking formula. Just like my experience with their glitter polish, I found this Etude Ice Cream polish to be fairly easy to apply. It doesn’t bubble, isn’t goopy, and it’s quite opaque. My only complaint is that it’s a bit streaky on the first coat. It’s not the best polish I’ve used, but it’s nowhere near the worse. I’d say it’s better than Sinful Colors but not as good as most China Glaze or OPI shades. Since it looks nice on the nails and resists chipping, I’d consider getting more colors because they’re so cheap. And did I mention cute?
Ebay is a great place to buy these Ice Cream Polishes. I buy most of my Asian cosmetics from eBay. However, eBay pricing is quite inconsistent and varies from seller to seller. I’ve seen these retail for $4, $5, and even $6 each. I ordered this polish from KollectionK along with the Etude Water Color Blush because they sell it for $2.84 USD (so cheap!) They have really competitive prices and include free samples with their orders so I highly recommend them. (Not sponsored, just happy with my order LOL)
