FOTD: Rose Epicurien
I want to briefly acknowledge my disappearance from social media (apart from Instagram and queued posts on Tumblr). April midterms hit me hard and I’ve been generally busy with a lot of things. I always hate leaving my blog unattended because I genuinely enjoy updating it frequently and have a lot of products I want to feature on here. Most days I return late at night when there is no more sunlight and I can’t take any pictures. 🙁 I’m trying my best to wake up a bit earlier and set aside some time to do blog-related things in the morning. Anyway, here’s a Face of the Day I was able to snap before class.
I can’t recall what foundation I was wearing here, but it was probably either NARS Sheer Glow or Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. As concealer I used the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard. As per usual, my brows are a combination of the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade in Dark Brown and Milani Clear Brow Gel. I skipped the blush and contoured using NYX Taupe. I set my face with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium. For the “color” portion of my makeup, I used two items that are on the opposite end of the pricing spectrum: the Wet’n’Wild Walking the Red Carpet Eyeshadow Palette ($5) and the YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush in Rose Epicurien ($40) (on my lips).
I’ve been wearing Rose Epicurien a lot because the texture is nice and the color is natural and understated but still feminine.
I hope you’re all having a good week! Good luck to everyone who has finals coming up in May!
