Green and Yellow: Spring Makeup Look
It’s been getting a bit too tame around here on my blog so here’s a makeup look featuring kelly green eyeshadow and bright yellow eyeliner! I actually love how this turned out. It looked even prettier in person and has reinforced the fact that green and purple are my favorite colors on brown eyes. Funny story about this look (not that funny really): I had intended it to be a yellow winged liner look. I was going to use the Stila Stay All Day Canary Liquid Liner to achieve that but when I got home from holiday I realized I accidentally picked up the pencil version of it. instead (the Canary Smudge Stick). I tried to create a winged line with it anyways but, dang, that thing is dry. It tugs on the lid and doesn’t layer well… so on the waterline it went. Unsurprisingly, it lasts really long on the waterline. And although a yellow waterline is a look I never thought I’d even try, I really dig it.

Are you planning on experimenting with colorful makeup this summer/spring? (It’s not technically spring anymore, haha, but it was when I photographed this. And maybe it still is where you live.)
