Haul: Sephora VIB Sale, MAC, and e.l.f.
Hi, loves! Happy Friday! I wasn’t planning on posting a haul today, but I got some e.l.f. products on the mail earlier so I decided to show you what I got alongside the products I bought on the Sephora Annual VIB Sale. There is also a random eyeliner from MAC that I picked up because it had been on my wishlist for so long.
I think I got a bit carried away and bought too much stuff, but 20% off your entire order at Sephora is a great opportunity to get things you’ve always wanted to buy. I also picked up some items for a swap (not shown of course) and treated this purchase as an early birthday present since my birthday is in December. All in all, I saved a lot of money on things I was going to buy eventually anyways.
Enough justifications, on to the products! π Also, since the Sephora sale was last week I’ve had a chance to use some of the products already so I will give you some quick thoughts on them:
MAKE UP FOR EVER Holodiam Powder in “302”: The Holodiam Powders are some holographic duo-chrome pigments/glitters/pearls that were released recently for the holidays. These sold out so fast! And I can see why. I’ve already used this and it will be featured in tomorrow’s Try It Out Thursday. It’s beautiful in person!
MAKE UP FOR EVER Eyeshadows in “159” and “92”: I can’t wait to post about MUFE eyeshadows. I’ve been so impressed with them. These in particular are an extremely pigmented blue and a very bright purple.
ILLAMASQUA Nail Varnish in “Kink”: I was so impressed with my first Illamasqua nail polish that I wanted to try another one. I posted a NOTD on Illamasqua’s “Creator” and that nail polish lasted a week on my nails with minimal tip wear. I ended up removing it, not because it chipped, but because I broke a nail while cleaning.
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in “Dragon Girl”: I’ve wanted this lipstick for so long! It’s a bright blue-toned red that will be perfect for the holidays. I haven’t used this yet.
TOO FACED La Creme Lip Cream in “Fuchsia Shock”: These lipsticks have gotten a lot of rave reviews. I’ve already used it an it’s really good, very moisturizing The packaging is very luxurious. The color is a bright fuchsia pink.
ILLAMASQUA Powder Blush in “Lover”: This will be the last peach colored blush I buy! I have too many already. The color is beautiful though. And it’s amazingly soft.
GUERLAIN Rouge G L’Extrait in “Avarice”: I’ve always wanted to try a luxury lipstick just to see what they were like (and what a better time than when it’s 20% off). I had my heart set on a YSL lipstick, but the shades I wanted were already sold out. I ended up getting this, which was my second choice. It’s amazing! The color is a nude beige and it’s perfect for everyday.
MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in “NC15/NW20”: I’ve wanted a nude eyeliner for a long time. I tried to get the one from Rimmel but since it’s so popular right now, it was always sold out at the stores.
e.l.f. Studio Blush in “Pink Passion” and HD Blushes in “Headliner”, “Diva”, and “Superstar”: These arrived today. I’ve never tried anything from e.l.f. before. These products are super popular. Most of the shades were sold out so this is what I was able to get. I’m excited to try them!
Have you made any recent makeup purchases? Also, if you haven’t seen my Urban Decay giveaway check it out here. Have a nice weekend!

21st Nov 2012 - 3:36 pmOoh so many goodies! I've been tempted to get Lover blush from Illamasqua, it looks like the perfect peachy shade! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it once you've tried it a little more! I've not seen anything about those ELF blushes, I don't think they're available in the UK yet but when they are I'll be snapping a couple of those up if they're good!

21st Nov 2012 - 5:26 pmI wish we had more products available in the UK from ELF like those blushes, we don't have the baked eyeshadow palette either which looks gorgeous! Love the shades of the blushes you got though.

22nd Nov 2012 - 8:58 amNonsense, there's no such thing as too much makeup π I've been eyeing Lover from Illamasqua for quite a while, I have a soft spot for peachy and coral-colored things.

22nd Nov 2012 - 10:07 amI probably would've gotten "carried away" as well π I know what you mean by having too many peachy blushes – we always end up buying the same things in slightly different variations over and over again! 'Tis the life of a makeup addict lol
