How to Protect Sensitive Teeth
Sensodyne® has compensated me in connection with statements made in this post.
I think it is a pretty common misconception that people with sensitive teeth can’t enjoy whitening toothpastes. I personally only suffer from sensitivity to cold, but that’s enough to cause me discomfort. On top of that, I do use teeth whitening products occasionally. Although dentin hypersensitivity is not the same as sensitivity due to teeth bleaching, I’ve felt wary about using toothpastes that promise to whiten teeth in the past. Teeth sensitivity occurs when dentin, which is the inner softer part of the tooth that is usually covered by an outer layer of enamel, becomes exposed.
In order to protect sensitive teeth, relieve pain, and maintain the whiteness of your teeth, I recommend adding the Sensodyne® True White® toothpaste to your dental routine of brushing twice a day. It’s the #1 brand recommended by dentists for people with sensitive teeth. I know that tooth sensitivity is a permanent condition and a hassle to deal with (we’d all like to enjoy those ice cream waffle cones happily) but it can be managed with special care and the right toothpaste.
The Sensodyne® True White® toothpaste comes in two varieties: Mint and Extra Fresh. I really like the Extra Fresh variety, even though I’m a bit wimpy when it comes to mint flavors, because the freshness isn’t too overwhelming but it lasts for a long time after you’ve brushed your teeth. The texture of the Sensodyne® True White® toothpaste is creamy and it doesn’t feel foamy like other brands; it feels less abrasive. In terms of packaging, I appreciate that Sensodyne® True White® comes in the sort of tube that can stand up by itself. It’s a minor detail, but it makes your bathroom counter look tidier.
I found the Sensodyne® True White® to be very gentle on my teeth but effective nonetheless. I suggest you try it for yourself if you suffer from teeth sensitivity (and remember to brush twice a day as well). You can get Sensodyne at most major retailers in the oral care aisle. Prices vary by location but it tends to retail for around $6.49 and $5.99.
P.S. Deal alert- You can try the new Sensodyne® True White® toothpaste and save $1 on your purchase. For more info, visit this link. And let me know, have you tried the Sensodyne® toothpastes? Tell me in the comments below for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.
xx Coco

31st Jul 2016 - 5:50 pmI use Sensodyne and love it. It really works great. I haven't tried the whitening toothpaste yet, but am going to pick it up the next time I'm buying toothpaste. Thanks so much.
