MAC Rhubarb Blush: Review
Remember when I reviewed that dry and chalky bright fuchsia blush from MAC (aka Azalea)? I said it was a huge let down because I knew MAC was capable of producing really bright matte blushes with great pigmentation and lovely texture like Rhubarb, $17 (aka this beauty right here). Well, now it’s Rhubarb’s time to shine.
Firstly, I’d like to point out that Rhubarb is slightly more purple in real life. It’s very bright and pigmented, but definitely orchid in tone specially compared to my pink blushes. The finish is matte, the texture is soft but it isn’t super buttery. It blends easily and wears for a long time. Rhubarb is so, so gorgeous! I love it on myself and on one of my best friends who is around an NC42-NC45 in MAC foundations. The downside is that this color isn’t easy to find. It’s a PRO product so you can only order it online in refill pan form (even if you aren’t part of MAC PRO) or purchase it from physical MAC PRO stores.
I think Rhubarb is amazing and even more amazing on dark skin tones. Do you know of any shades similar to this?
