MAC Steamy Eyeshadow Review
Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday! Throughout the course of this year I want to individually review my favorite MAC eyeshadows. I’ve swatched some in the past in my New MAC Palette and MAC Neutral Palette posts but my Neutral Palette post is so old! I would love to redo it with better pictures. Anyways, I won Steamy from the lovely Natalie during a giveaway. Here are my thoughts on it:
I would describe Steamy as a turquoise/teal. It’s such a pretty color! I love it because it’s a bit icy but it still looks good with my brown eyes and warm skin. I think that icy greens that lean too much towards blue look terrible on me.
Steamy has a frost finish. It’s soft and easy to work with but not as buttery as a veluxe pearl or as my other MAC frosts (like Cranberry or Sumptuous Olive).
Steamy has a very good color payoff. It’s pigmented, vibrant, and lasts long on the eyes even without a primer.
I adore this color! It’s not extremely unique so I’m sure other brands might have something like this, but it’s still a great addition to my collection. Steamy is very frosty so it’s eye-catching and fun to wear. In the eye look above I paired it with liquid liner and MAC’s Swiss Chocolate on the crease.
