Melted Slate: Makeup Look
Hi! I hope you’ve all been well since my last post. Today’s makeup look features one of my favorite color combinations: terra cotta and baby blue. Most of the products I used to create this are from affordable and/or drugstore brands. This look was featured on my recent theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter review. The mermaid waves were a result of sleeping with french braids. Easiest hairstyle ever, totally recommend it! (Except I don’t find frenchbraiding easy at all, my friends always do my french braids for me. Cheers for talented friends!)
If it weren’t for the pricey lip products, this whole look could have easily come under $20. Melted Coral has a great formula and I love the spongetip applicator, but it’s an easily dupeable color.
On an unrelated note, I had my surgery yesterday. Everything went well but I’m tired and supposed to be on bed rest for a little while. I’ve been watching a lot of Netflix (of course) and made the mistake of starting Grey’s Anatomy. For some reason I had never watched the show before although I unfortunately know a lot of spoilers thanks to its popularity and the Internet. I feel like I’m spiraling into a black hole of over 10 dramatic seasons. I know it was such a popular series once but I wonder if that many people watch it anymore.
