I shared my newest frames from Firmoo back in June. I was really excited with my new glasses because I had been wearing the same pair for almost five years. I wore them for a while and loved them. Some time after that, I was offered to try a new pair and was encouraged to choose one of their more recently released frames. I thought about it and decided to accept the second pair from Firmoo because, first of all, glasses are both a necessity and an accessory; you can always benefit from having more than one. Secondly, I regretted not getting the anti-glare lens upgrade last time and wanted to do so this time around. Here are the details about my second experience.
The shipping was just as fast as last time. I had my frames in about 2-3 weeks. Keep in mind that these ship from China, are made to order, and that I live in America. In terms of the actual frames, I found them to be of very nice quality. The frame feels sturdy and the lens is crisp and clear. I got all of the basic lens options (no upgrades) except for the anti-glare which was about $5. (Totally worth it, by the way, specially for driving.) As I mentioned in my last post, I usually pay around $150+ for a pair of brand-name glasses. Compared to those, Firmoo’s frame is less sturdy but by no means flimsy. You get what you pay for and you have to look after them, but they are very nice quality glasses for the price. They remind me a lot of Warby Parkers except that they’re cheaper (about half the price).
Even though I received this pair for free, I fully recommend these and have encouraged my mom to order a pair for herself. I’ve been wearing glasses for years and understand the struggle of the high price glasses tend to have. The downside is that you can’t try these on in person. The closest you can get is uploading your picture into the website to try them on virtually. My recommendation is that you find a similar pair at a local store and try them on there.
Let me know if you’ve also tried glasses from Firmoo. Have a great weekend!
