MAC Sunbasque Blush ($17 pan, $21 compact): A reader suggested in the comments that I try this blush once (so sorry, I don’t remember your name!) I’m glad I did because I think it’s glorious. I’m not keen on shimmery/frosty blushes but I adore this one. It has a satin/shimmer finish that looks fresh on the cheeks and doesn’t accentuate pores. I think this shade is great year round but it’s so appropriate for the upcoming summer.
This blush has very nice pigmentation, texture, and wear time. It’s a Sheertone Shimmer, but I wouldn’t call it sheer. If I had to describe Sunbasque in one word it would be: warmth. It makes you look totally sun kissed without looking orange. It might be a tad dark on fairer skin tones but I think it’s perfect for medium to tan ones.
Let me know if you’ve tried this one too! It has become one of my favorite blushes from MAC.
