Interesting to hear your thoughts on these. I actually haven't tried any shadow sticks but I will probably give these a miss due to their drier texture. I'd rather try out the Milani ones!

Such a shame, since they look so gorgeous! I've been hunting for a rose gold, and while I am super in love with MAC Rubenesque at the moment, I'm still wondering about other products out there. Oh well, I guess I'll have to check out Michelle Phan's Em Ro's Gold eyeliner. 😛 x

Haven't tried that, but from what I've seen Ro's Gold seems more yellow xx

I love the flushed colour reminds me of the the maybelline tattoo shade that's super similar, shame it didn't live up to the high hopes! x

They look so gorgeous, such a shame they failed texture-wise :/

Boo, too bad about texture because they are beauts. Cream shadows and sticks can be soooo hit or miss!

Most definitely. So many things can go wrong! They can be super greasy sometimes or the total opposite x

Too bad the formula was a tad disappointing, but thanks for listing other affordable options that do the job better! Flushed really does look like a lovely everyday shimmer shade 🙂

Thanks for this review. I too love shadow sticks but find a lot of them to be hit and miss so it was great hearing your thoughts on the texture before picking up a whole bunch.
    Great post!

Sucks that these weren't as impressive as we'd like, the flushed color is still lovely on you however

It's a shame that the texture is shoddy. Flushed looks lovely!

The Rose Gold looks especially dry… what a bummer!! At least NYX doesn't cause your bank account to weep so it wasn't tooooooo too much of a waste :/

Flushed looks absolutely gorgeous, too bad the texture isn't so great 🙁 I usually love jumbo pencils by NYX!

I'm not a huge fan of cream shadows in general so I would've been passing on these anyway. I prefer powder.

I love cream shadows too as they're so easy to wear. Its a shame these weren't great as the colours look pretty. Cream shadows are so hit & miss. I like the Laura Mercier & Bobbi Brown ones. They wear really well on me

I'm super picky when it comes to the texture of cream eyeshadows as well for some reason. I just feel like it's tugging on my eyelid if they're too dry…

it's a shame the texture of these is such a letdown. i find the same about the jumbo pencils, they're affordable and have a huge colour range but they're just not very good quality so i'd rather buy something else. unfortunately it probably won't be these though!

flushed is stunning, but if it drags on the eye…… I think I'd rather spend my money on the new Color Tattoos!
