Pink and Lilac Spring Makeup Look
So it isn’t spring anymore (I’ve got a huge backlog of posts) but I don’t believe colors are exclusive to seasons. I haven’t done such a bright, bubblegum colorful look in a while! Like I always say, makeup is fun! Wearing bold colors doesn’t make you brave, it’s just makeup. The worst thing that can happen if you leave the house with bold makeup on is that someone complements you on it!
1. Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Fledgeling (crease) 2. Illamasqua Eyeshadow in CanCan (lid) 3. Ben Nye Banana Powder 4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful 5. Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Dab (eye base) 6. Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Creep (inner corner) 7. Face It Cake Designing Brow Kit in Khaki Grey 8. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pure Nude (eye primer) 9. Make Up For Ever Glitter in 03 10. MAC Embrace Me Eyeshadow + MUFE Aqua Seal (eyeliner) 11. Coastal Scents Eyeshadow in Rustic Maroon (bottom lash line) 12. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 53 13. Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara (brow gel)
Besides all these pastel colors, this makeup look also features glitter! Now that I think about it, this is a great festival look (if you’re into dressing up). I meant for the pink eyeliner to be lighter and more pastel. I created it by mixing a pink eyeshadow (MAC Embrace Me) with Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Seal. It was my first time using Aqua Seal and I noticed that it amps up the color of an eyeshadow a lot. So the eyeliner ended up looking borderline red. Oh, well! Live and learn.
