How many of you played (still play?) Neopets back in the day? (I swear, this has some relation to this blog post!) P.S. I still check my JubJubs occasionally. I can’t stand the thought of letting such cute compilations of pixels go hungry. Anyway, there was this Neopets faerie called Jhudora and her signature colors were green and purple. I was so young when I first discovered Neopets and it left such an impression on me that, to this day, I cannot see the colors purple and green together and not think of Jhudora. I guess what I’m trying to say is that after I finished doing my makeup I thought this seemed like a faerie inspired look. /coolstory

I ended up loving this makeup look! It’s really colorful but quite tame at the same time. Purple is a non-intimidating shade that most people would wear. The “unconventional” color is the lime green, but it’s kept to the inner corners of the eyes only. It’s also really affordable because the purples are from Coastal Scents so they cost $2 each. The matte green shade is Bitter from MAC which I had to add because NYX’s Money Maker has poor pigmentation (meh!). This can be solved by using a white pencil on the inner corners prior to applying Money Maker, but since it was my first time using it I didn’t know it would be so sheer.
