More glitter makeup looks! The cool thing about this one is that it features a very affordable loose glitter! Up until now I had featured glitters that were above the $15 mark. This Poppin Pigments glitter from Hard Candy comes with two different colors for only $6!
My previous glitter looks consisted mostly of pairing glitter with a cut crease or very defined eye shape. For this look I went for a rounder smokier structure. Sort of like grungy-glitter, is that even a thing? The base color consists of a deep matte purple (MAC Fig. 1) all over the lid. I applied a lighter metallic burgundy (Coastal Scents Vintage Burgundy) on the inner corners and inner bottom lash line. Finally, I blended a medium brown eyeshadow on the crease (can’t remember which one, to be honest). I then patted the purple Hard Candy Poppin Pigments purple glitter on top and decided to go sans eyeliner. The final touches were two coats of mascara and white eyeliner on the waterline. The lipstick I’m wearing is Pret-a-Porter from Paul & Joe and the blush is Dainty from MAC.
I love this glitter, it’s very beautiful! I can’t wait to use the other color it comes with, a duochrome silver. What are your favorite brands of cosmetic glitter?
