Review: Illamasqua Cream Blush in Rude
Hi, lovelies! Today I’m reviewing an Illamasqua cream blusher in the color “Rude”. This has to be the creamiest cream blush I’ve ever used (redundant, I know). For that reason I can see how people with oily skin might not like this because it’s really wet.
I have normal skin so it’s not a problem for me. I find it really easy to blend and nicely pigmented. If you love cream blush this is a must have. The color is a little complex. Illamasqua describes it as a peach pink. It has pronounced orange undertones in the pan. However, when I put it on my cheeks the pink is more noticeable (especially in person).
Overall, it’s not the longest lasting cream blush I’ve used, but besides that it’s pretty much perfect. I’ve been really impressed with Illamasqua blushes. Although I seem to keep getting very similar shades. I think want some pink and plum blushes now. Have a nice week!

10th Dec 2012 - 3:17 pmThis looks utterly gorgeous on you! I love the colour. I reckon that might be ok for my really dry skin if you say it's really creamy π
Great review xxx

10th Dec 2012 - 3:59 pmIt looks great on you! When I saw the title on my dashboard, I was thinking 'Oh no, I'm going to get another Illamasqua blush after seeing this review!' – but thankfully, I prefer powder blushes more!
Yeah, I don't have much discipline when it comes to buying makeup.

11th Dec 2012 - 4:32 amIt looks so nice on your skin, and definitely not as loud as it is in the pan. I wish cream blushes worked for me more, but without a primer they tend to eventually slide off my face. Of course, that's not going to keep me from checking out the Illamasqua stand near me… π xx

13th Dec 2012 - 4:03 pmI've heard so many good things about their cream blushes but they're a bit pricy. Do you think they're worth it if I could get a similar one from a cheaper brand? Hmm, or maybe Santa will give me some for Christmas?! lol. You're gorgeous by the way! Love your blog. Now following you!

15th Dec 2012 - 1:04 pmWhat makes them really amazing is the texture. There are some really great affordable cream blushes that also give you the natural dewy effect of a cream. I think it's best to get affordable ones so you can try out more shades. xxx

15th Dec 2012 - 11:08 amHi Coco! I loved this, what have you used under your eyes (is it the concealer) that makes the very top of your cheek bones so illuminated? It's lovely!

15th Dec 2012 - 1:07 pmI used the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting concealer (such a long name!) xx

18th Dec 2012 - 8:18 amThis is a beautiful color. I only have one cream blush from Illamasqua and I am so impressed with the formula. It's the best I've tried.

4th Mar 2013 - 3:53 pmI was eyeing up this colour the other day.. it's so beautiful, but I'm worried it might be a bit similar to my MAC Something Special blush? xx

4th Mar 2013 - 4:04 pmThey do seem so similar that the purchase doesn't seem justified. And cream blushers last for ages don't know if you'll need 2 xx
