Review: MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty
If you’ve never taken a look at the MAC Mineralize Blushes ($27) then I highly suggest you do. I’m a huge fan of the shade Warm Soul (reviewed previously here) and now I’ll be showing you Dainty, a warm toned light/medium pink. Keep reading to see my full thoughts and swatches.
The Mineralize Blushes have semi-opaque pigmentation. They apply similarly to the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes: you build them up. They’re pigmented, two sweeps are usually enough for me, but you’ll never have one of those omg-I-look-like-a-clown moments. Because of this, the lighter colors are probably not suitable for deeper skin tones. The texture is soft and the finish is satin with micro shimmer (seriously, you can’t even see it on the face).
I love this color because it’s a great pink for many skin tones. Do you have a favorite MAC Mineralize Blush? Also can we talk about the $2 price increase ever since they changed the packaging? These blushes used to cost $25. Ew. And I am not a fan of the new Mineralize packaging.
