Review: MAC Pink Swoon Blush
Hello! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on my blog regularly. To say that I’ve been busy is probably an understatement. I’ve actually felt really terrible about it. I love keeping my blog on a schedule and have a long list of posts on my to-do list. Unfortunately, my blog post queue ran out and, although I had some spare time to write blog posts, I didn’t have time to take photographs during the morning in order to create new posts. Basically, I miss posting frequently and feel bad that I have lost touch with readers. Now that I’ve gotten that out of my chest, here’s a product review for MAC’s Pink Swoon Blush ($17 for pan, $22 for compact).
I had been meaning to review this blush for a long time because it’s one of the few that I hadn’t reviewed from my MAC Pro Blush Palette. Turns out this blush has actually been discontinued according to Makeup Alley. I purchased it over a year ago and can no longer find it on MAC’s website. Basically, that makes this review pretty useless unless you’re searching for this review because you found Pink Swoon at a Cosmetics Company Outlet or something like that.
Anyhow, Pink Swoon is a matte bubble gum pink. The color is very pretty and quite girly. The pigmentation and lasting power for this blush is nice, but I’ve always found the texture to be subpar when you compare it with other MAC blushes. It’s somewhat chalky and powdery. All in all, it’s a pretty color but not a huge loss to MAC’s line.
As always, thank you very much for reading and supporting my blog! 🙂
