Review: Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Pink Souffle
I love liquid lipsticks because of their matte finish and longevity. They don’t transfer so they are great for special events or nights out. I already own one shade from the Sephora Cream Lip Stain range and decided to get another because I was very impressed with it. I’ve been meaning to do a Liquid Lipstick Roundup post for ages. I finally published my Coastal Scents eyeshadow collection post so I think 2015 might be the year for completing overdue posts.
I found Pink Soufflé‘s formula to be almost the same as the other Cream Lip Stain I previously owned. It goes on smoothly and gives you enough time to apply it properly before it dries (about 60 seconds). The pigmentation is great so it doesn’t need many layers. It feels very thin while it’s drying, unlike the Hourglass liquid lipsticks which feel sticky and are sometimes hard to work with. Out of all the liquid lipsticks I own, the Sephora Cream Lip Stains are one of the longest lasting. My only issue with Pink Soufflé is that it accentuates lip lines and texture in a way that my other Lip Stain didn’t. I imagine it might be because Pink Soufflé is a light color and my other Lip Stain is a dark purple. Although I do wish the final texture was more flattering, it’s not as bad as this one from Wet’n’Wild.
