Review: Stila Convertible Color in Peony
Hello, lovelies! Hope you’re having a good weekend. Today I wanted to review a really lovely cream blush: the Convertible Color in Peony from Stila. If you own or have seen Stila Convertible Colors in other blogs before you may be wondering why this one has such strange packaging. It’s actually a deluxe sample size I got from Sephora. I traded it in for 100 reward points. This perk is currently not available because I redeemed it some time ago (back in April to be exact).
I’ve tried Convertible Colors before but I’ve yet to decide on a color I want to purchase. I don’t know if I would ever purchase a full size of Peony because this is a generous sample. You don’t need to use much product because these are nicely pigmented. At $25 for a full size, the Convertible Colors are expensive but can last you years depending on the frequency of use.
Formula-wise, I’ve always found Stila Convertible Colors to be most similar to Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge cream blushes. They both work wonderfully on the lips and have a creamy texture that is both long-lasting and easy to blend on the cheeks. If you don’t find a color you like in the Convertible Color line then you can look for one in the Pot Rouges or vice versa.
MY MAKEUP: Stila Convertible Color in Peony (cheeks) || MAC Pro Longwear Foundation in NC30 || Milani ShadowEyez in Sand Dunes (base) || NARS And God Created the Woman Eyeshadow Palette || Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Faceted Mascara || NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul
I adore this cream blush. It lasts well on the cheeks and doesn’t have an overly dewy finish. It also feels nice on the lips. I have nothing negative to say about it really. It’s my ideal cream blush formula. I’m working on a roundup post of all the cream blushes I’ve tried so I hope to be able to post that by the end of the month.
