I realize it’s not spring but Spring Fling is just the name of one of the eyeshadows used to create this look. The main characters in this makeup look are both very affordable green eyeshadows from Coastal Scents. I’ve posted green eye looks in the past, but they were olive and kelly green in tone. This one is soft and pastel. I love it much more than I ever thought I would. Keep reading to see closeups of the finished look.

I don’t absolutely love how these pictures turned out because I took them while I was staying at my sister’s house. I didn’t have my tripod with me and the lighting was grey and overcast. Plus her windows had blinds. I guess I was out of my “makeup selfie” comfort zone.
I decided to pair the pastel greens on the lid with neutral brown shadows on the crease. I tend to automatically reach for warm browns when doing crease work simply because I have strong warm/yellow undertones. I’m glad I decided to switch it up because I like how the green looks with the neutral brown, almost grayish.
Let me know if this is something you’d wear yourself.
SHOP THE POST
Before fully ending this post I want to express my sincerest and hugest gratitude to all of my readers! I reached 5,000 readers via Bloglovin’ this week and that has made me extremely happy! I enjoy blogging so much, I put a lot of time into it, and I’ve met some great people through it. It’s very rewarding when people enjoy the content you create and put out there. I’ve been having a really hectic couple of months plus I just got ill yesterday so I needed the cheering up. I mentioned on Twitter that I wanted to do a giveaway when I reached 5k because it’s a huge milestone for me. I had the hardest time deciding on a prize since I wanted something everyone could enjoy. Here’s what I came up with:
Prize: One winner will receive a $50 Sephora.com e-giftcard. If you live in a country where Sephora is not available or where e-gift cards cannot be purchased, I will purchase your choice of fifty US dollars-worth of items and ship them to you myself.
Rules: I’m still deciding on the best way to run giveaways. I explained my distaste for using Rafflecopter in this post, but also found that not using it kept a lot of you from entering. So, this particular giveaway will be held through Rafflecopter but I’m not sure if future giveaways will. I’m still investigating, ha.
Anyhow, the only mandatory rule is that you follow The Beauty Milk through Bloglovin’. The rest will earn you extra entries. Freebie, fake, and giveaway accounts will be disqualified. I do moderate entries. This is open internationally. The giveaway ends on Sept 26th. Good luck! 🙂 And thank you for the support.
