Try It Out Thursday: Duochromes
Hello, beauties! Happy Thursday, thankfully the work week is almost over. Today’s Try It Out Thursday features three fun duochrome eyeshadows. I love duochromes. They look gorgeous on the eyes and give them a lot of dimension. The three I featured in today’s post are pretty dramatic, but if you want subtle daytime duochromes you can check out MAC’s Vex, Wet’n’Wild’s I’m Feeling Retro Palette, and Wet’n’Wild’s Comfort Zone Palette.
Look 1 – This look features MAC Club eyeshadow, a brown base with green duochrome. Club is the subtlest of the three, so it was the hardest to photograph. I paired it up with MAC Swiss Chocolate on the crease.
Look 2 – This is the nighttime clubbing look. I used Make Up For Ever Holodiam Powder in 302 (review) which is more like a “trichrome” because it reflects all kinds of colors depending on its base. I used a black eyeshadow underneath it for this look.
Look 3 – I used the BareMinerals The Vision duo (review) which I have featured previously on my blog. I adore this duo, the colors compliment each other so well. I used the light blue color on the lid and the brown-blue duochrome on the crease. I topped it off with liquid liner.
