Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Zodiac
This purchase was one of the hundreds inspired by Temptalia’s reviews. Zodiac is an eyeshadow that looks so enticing in the pan that it’s hard not to want to take it home, even if you’re not prone to wearing green eyeshadow much. Luckily for some, it comes off as more of a darkened teal. The looks you’ll be able to create with Zodiac are more along the lines of sultry smokey eyes rather than in-your-face colorful looks. Nonetheless, the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows have a lot of glitter and light-reflective shifting which make them stand out from other powder eyeshadows.
I haven’t tried all of the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows but Zodiac has some amount of fallout. I find the fallout to be tolerable and easy to deal with. Minor fallout is expected when it comes to eyeshadows that are as saturated with glitter as this one. To decrease fallout, you can pat this (never sweep) over a creamy primer or eyeshadow base.
As I mentioned before, Zodiac comes off very smokey making it perfect for nighttime looks. If you wanted it to look more vibrant (closer to how it looks in the pan) you could wear it over a green eyeshadow base (such as NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils or Maybelline Color Tattoos) to enhance it.
I’m really happy with this purchase. I love wearing Zodiac because it adds some interest and glitter to otherwise dark/black nighttime looks. I’m interested in trying some of the other Moondust Eyeshadows particularly Solstice, Ether, and Scorpio because they seem to have a stronger shifting 3D sparkle effect.
