At first glance the Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood Palette doesn’t seem very daytime/subtle as it has a lot of glittery eyeshadows. There are ways to tone it down like by just using the glitters on the inner corners of the eyes. Or you can use it all over if you’d like. I also love some neutral glitter every now and then. Anyhow, here is today’s Face of the Day.
(Again, sorry for the terrible selfie. It was taken with my phone.)
I was going for one of those “no-makeup makeup” looks. I went sans foundation because sometimes I don’t feel like wearing any. I did heavy concealing using the Revlon PhotoReady Concealer in Light/Med. I’m one of those people that contours everyday so I used my Sleek Contour Kit in Medium to do that. For blush I used NARS‘s barely-there shade Love. Then I set everything with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent. I filled in my brows a bit using the Face it Designing Brow Cake in Khaki Grey and set them with Mary Kay’s Lash Primer. For my eyes I used a few shades from the Old Hollywood Palette and coated my lashes with the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara. On the lips I used a layer of the Korres Lip Butter Glaze in Pomegranate.
What’s on your face today? Have a nice day! 🙂
